Joel Piels is a junior at Georgetown studying Computer Science, Ethics & Society with a minor in Medical Humanities. He is passionate about AI governance, privacy, and youth tech policy. Alongside his studies, he oversees the AI Collective’s University Program and previously founded the Georgetown Research Chapter in partnership with YPA and Encode.
