Research Project: Risk Mapping in Forensic DNA Analysis

Lucy Qin is a Postdoctoral Fritz Fellow. Broadly, her background is in applied cryptography and usable security/privacy. She recently completed her PhD in Computer Science at Brown University where the focus of her thesis was on designing novel cryptographic protocols in support of public policy use cases. At Georgetown, she works on projects related to privacy and the collection/use of genetic data along with projects focused on deterring image-based sexual abuse.
